The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 was an instant classic, packed with all the drama, excitement and unpredictability that only Mount Panorama can deliver – from wild weather changes and Safety Cars to daring strategy calls and a breathtaking finish.

After qualifying 13th for The Great Race, James Golding and David Russell charged through the field in the #31 PremiAir Racing Camaro, crossing the line first before ultimately celebrating a well-earned third place on the podium.

Golding led the field across the finish line by just 0.96 seconds ahead of Matthew Payne and Garth Tander, having seized the lead on the final lap in a thrilling late-race duel. A five-second time penalty for an earlier move while “having a crack” at the lead in a thrilling battle with Cooper Murray racing the #99 Chicko Camaro saw the duo officially classified third – but that didn’t take away from a standout performance in a race that will rank among one of the best ever at the mountain.

While the outright win narrowly slipped away, the result was still one to remember – the first Bathurst 1000 podium for both Golding and PremiAir Racing, and the third for the experienced Russell.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

For the first time, this model will also include a scale replica of the 3rd place pit-board from Pirtek victory lane.
